Krao is run by KRao Holdings LLC (Delaware, USA) on Discourse hosting. Personal data leaves Discourse only in these ways:
- Backups of the forum, encrypted.
- Encrypted backup logs of public content.
- AI features. Content is sent to AI models run by Discourse (Civilized Discourse Construction Kit, Inc.), our forum software provider, in three cases: (1) when you use the writing assistant, the text you select; (2) when someone asks for a topic summary, that topic’s posts; (3) to power related topics and search by meaning, posts in all categories, including restricted ones and own forums, are converted into numerical representations. Private messages are never sent to any AI model. Members’ posts are not machine-translated. (Pending lawyer review.)
We do not sell your data and do not show advertising.

What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site and gather data when you participate in the forum by reading, writing, and evaluating the content shared here.
When registering on our site, you may be asked to enter your name and e-mail address. You may, however, visit our site without registering. Your e-mail address will be verified by an email containing a unique link. If that link is visited, we know that you control the e-mail address.
